Understand why you put on weight

The first step in fixing the problem you need to understand what caused it.

The main causes are; not eating breakfast, eating the wrong foods like too much sugar, too much processed fats and trans fats, too much nutritionally poor processed foods.

It can also be caused by too much toxins, the wrong PH in the body [too acidic], nutrient deficiency, iodine deficiency, underactive thyroid, slow metabolism, lack of exercise, not enough fresh raw food, or it can be caused by an illness or disease.

It can also be caused by emotional or psychological problems.

There is also the genetic factor too, if you are big boned and come from a big boned family with curves, be realistic and realize you will never be slim, but you can certainly be more comfortable, have more energy and ease of mobility as well as being healthier and prevent becoming obese.

If you are already in the range of being obese, you can certainly lose weight without lots of exercise to begin with, it will take a little longer to start with but once you have lost some weight and rebalanced the body you will have the energy to become more active and lose weight at a faster rate.

Simple reversal

Start with eating breakfast and do the detox / colon cleanse, to get rid of the toxins and heavy fats in the intestines, drink lots more alkaline water [can add a few drops of fresh lemon juice to water to make it alkaline] , add iodine rich foods [leafy greens and oily cold water fish] or iodine drops to make sure your thyroid is functioning better so it speeds up metabolism and balances hormones, add apple cider vinegar to diet as it turns alkaline in the body and dissolves the fats, eat more fresh raw just picked foods, add more spices such as ginger, chili, paprika, turmeric and garlic, try to make sure you get minimum of 30 minutes of physical activity each day [no need to do extra if you have a physical job] and try to limit sugars, artificial sweeteners and processed foods.

Replace snacks with the foods that make you lose weight.

I also suggest going to a doctor for a full health check including a full blood picture to make sure there are no underlying health problems, a cholesterol check, a liver function test and have your blood sugar levels checked. This should always be done at least once a year anyway to pick up health problems early.
